Un silence pareil à mille voix
Qui entonnent l'hymne
A la pensée libérée
Ils se retrouvent, s'assemblent,
Nuit et jour, jour et nuit,
Pour nous annoncer,
A mi-voix recueillis,
En une méditation séculaire:
"Nous reviendrons, oui,
Nous reviendrons".
Comme un bruissement d'ailes
Résonnent leurs pas légers
Sur l 'âpre roc montagneux...

A silence that feels like a thousand
Voices joining the song of
The freedom of thought.
They gather themselves
Both night and day
To concentrate their hidden voices
Through centuries of
Thoughtfulness, to let us know:
"We shall return,
We will come back".
Like wing-strokes
You can hear them tip-toe
Over Cliff-stones' ground
